Data Center Operator to Begin Work on 192K-SF Hutt0 Project in December

Colovore is planning to start construction on the 192,000-square-foot data center project at 2401 Innovation Blvd. in December. The project will be complete by December 2028. The price was pegged at $280 million.

The Austin Business Journal reports Colovore, which develops data centers that use liquid cooling, acquired the 30-acre tract in Hutto in July 2025. The company had previously described the project as a $500 million, 180,000-square-foot data center and a 13,000-square-foot flex office space.

The site is part of a 118-acre industrial park known as Hutto Crossing that should eventually top more than 1 million square feet of industrial space. It is a joint venture of Velocis, Ironwood Realty Partners and MBK Industrial Properties. I

Colovore was founded in 2012 as a way to provide more cost-efficient ground-up, smaller data center solutions for customers ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to Silicon Valley startups amid the demands for AI infrastructure. It was acquired by global investment firm King Street Capital Management.
