Data Center Contractor J.E. Richards Signs 935K-SF Lease at Stafford County Warehouse

JLL recently brokered a nearly 1-million-square-foot industrial space deal in Stafford, Virginia.

Lanham-based J.E. Richards LLC, an electrical contractor that serves the data center industry, signed a 935,000-square-foot lease for a newly constructed warehouse at 211 Centreport Parkway. JLL’s John Dettleff represented the landlord, Flint Development. NAI Michael’s Michael DiMeglio and Michael Isen represented JE Richards.

According to JLL, the transaction marks the largest single industrial lease ever transacted between the Metro DC and DC-Richmond corridors. J.E. Richards LLC will move approximately 500 employees to the warehouse.

Known as Capitol 95 Logistics, the Stafford warehouse was recently completed by Contegra Construction Co. and Flint Development. The building is one of only two Class A industrial buildings larger than 800,000 square feet across the two markets, and both were leased within 12 months of delivery, with JLL representing both listings.
