DarwinPW Represents Owner in Elmhurst Industrial Building Lease Deal

DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International announced that Vice President Dan Prendergast and Managing Broker George Cibula represented building owner 3 Flatt LLC in a new lease for the entire 40,048-square-foot building at 185 Industrial Drive in Elmhurst to the Elmhurst Park District.

The Elmhurst Park District was represented by Prairie Path Berkshire Hathaway’s Mike Muisenga in the transaction. The property has 6,418 square feet of office space for park district staff. It also boasts 42 parking spots and a drop-off area for families taking their children to park district programs. The nearly 34,000-square-foot warehouse space with an 18-foot clear height provides ample room for sports programs. The Elmhurst Park District plans to use the space for programs for the next few years while the community center is rebuilt.

The park district plans to use the warehouse to operate dance, gymnastics and sports programs while its community center is redeveloped. “The Elmhurst Park District liked that this facility had adequate office space for their administrative offices, and that it has enough clear height for gymnastics and other sports programs,” said Prendergast.
