DarwinPW Facilitates Portfolio Refinance for Darwin Investment Group

DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International has facilitated the refinancing for a large portfolio of buildings for Darwin Investment Group. The portfolio includes 40 buildings totaling 2.2 million square feet throughout greater Chicagoland, and the $100 million loan was refinanced through the firm’s lender, Wells Fargo.

The DarwinPW Realty team of Matthew Lewandowski, George Cibula, Erin Cibula and Patricia Liston worked on behalf of the transaction. Darwin Investment Group has already begun sourcing additional buildings for its portfolio.

Darwin Investment Group is a privately held real estate investment company that focuses on commercial real estate investments throughout the Chicagoland area. The investment firm last refinanced its portfolio in December 2015, when it was made up of 1.4 million square feet of space and 27 buildings. The current portfolio is home to more than 225 tenants in 40 buildings and spreads from the south suburbs of Chicago to southeast Wisconsin.
