Danville Retail Center Trades for $20M

Real estate brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Village Shopping Center, a 67,000-square-foot, 2-story retail property in Danville, CA. The firm’s Vince Schwab was the exclusive agent for the seller, Montair Associates and procured the buyer, Blake Griggs Properties, LLC.

“Built in 1977, Village Shopping Center is a pillar of the local Danville community, featuring a diverse tenant roster of independently owned and operated businesses that withstood the pandemic and maintained a 97% occupancy rate,” said Schwab, executive managing director investments. “The property benefits from its location just off San Ramon Valley Boulevard, one of Danville’s most traveled streets.”

Some notable tenants at the shopping center include Fitness 19 and the Danville Chamber of Commerce. Danville is also one of the wealthiest suburbs in the U.S., with an average household income of over $220,000, according to Schwab.
