Dallas Morning News Ends Up at Statler Library

Following a thorough search of likely locations, the Dallas Morning News has targeted the Statler Library on Commerce Street in downtown Dallas for its editorial operations. Officials with the publication signed a letter of intent with landlord Centurion American Development Group, and if all goes according to plan, editorial and advertising personnel could be in their new digs by mid-2017.

The 90,027-square-foot Statler Library is being redeveloped, with completion scheduled for early next year. The building was once the site of the main Dallas Public Library, and is adjacent to the Statler Hilton Hotel. Phil Puckett and Jeff Ellerman with CBRE represented the Morning News in its search.
