Tom Thumb is standing taller today. The anchor tenant for the Meadow Central Market has been completely remodeled along with the rest of the Meadow Central Market. The grocery store is the anchor tenant for one of the oldest grocery-anchored retail centers in North Dallas, dating back to 1972.
Tom Thumb’s rehab was extensive. Shoppers will find an upgraded beer and wine department along with a full-service seafood department and expanded bakery.
The 108,778-square foot center is home to tenants such as CVS, a variety of fast-casual and full service restaurants and more.
Meadow Central is a hard-to-miss marketplace, with access from both Central Expressway and Meadow Road. Besides the upgrade to the Tom Thumb, the market’s owner Weitzman, added a new facade, signage, landscaping, parking and security. In addition, lifestyle amenities like seating and green space were either added or enhanced.
