
Dallas Housing Authority Taps Developers for Renovations
The Dallas Housing Authority (DHA) selected 12 private developers to redevelop affordable housing properties throughout North Texas. The first round will focus on seven affordable properties, totaling 650 units, and situated on nearly 146 acres.
The developers working with the DHA include:

- Carleton Development
- Fairfield Residential
- Matthews Southwest
- McCormack Baron Salazar
- Michaels Development Co.
- Ojala Partners
- Steele Properties
- The NRP Group
- Trammell Crow Co.
- Volunteers of America National Services
- DFW Advisors/KRR Construction/Michael R. Coker Co.
The first targeted property for renovation will be Brooks Manor, a 6.7-acre, 225-unit property at 520 W. Page Ave., which is zoned for retirement housing. Also on the drawing/rehab board is Cliff Manor, at 2423 Fort Worth Ave. Both are in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of South Dallas. DHA has not yet named a specific developer to either project.
