Dallas Cowboys Owner Snags More Frisco Land
Blue Star Land, owned and operated by Dallas Cowboys football team owner Jerry Jones, expanded its land collection in Frisco, TX, acquiring 60 acres at the Dallas North Tollway and Rockhill Parkway. The acreage is geographically close to the 200-acre Star Business Park, which Blue Star acquired in 2016.
“We feel this frontage along the tollway will provide a nice mixed-use development project to complement the Star Business Park,” Collin County real estate broker Rex Glendenning told the Dallas Morning News. Glendenning, who owns REX Real Estate, arranged the sale. He also brokered previous land sales on behalf of the Cowboys.
While specific plans have yet to be released for the just-acquired land, Blue Star is hard at work on Star Business Park, which it acquired from the city. The developer is building a 400,000-square-foot merchandising, distribution and sales complex in the park. PowerSecure Lighting also has a presence in the park.
