Texas business man to launch 50 indoor Picklemall centers

Dallas-Based Investor to Open 50 “Picklemalls”

There is no stopping the pickleball juggernaut. LaBron James owns a team in the new pickleball pro league and new centers are popping up all over the country. Most centers are outdoor facilities, but one Dallas businessman wants to take pickleball to the mall. Meet Picklemall.

Picklemall CEO West Shaw says he wants to insert massive pickleball facilities into cities across the U.S. His first location will be in the Phoenix metro area. Picklemall will occupy a 104,000-square-foot space previously occupied by a home furnishing store. With the Picklemall concept, formerly what would have been aisles and aisles of home decor will be replaced with 24 pickleball courts.

Picklemall has a goal of opening as many as 50 nationwide locations in the next 24 months.
