Dallas JW Marriott Arts District opens for business May 15

Dallas Arts District JW Marriott to Open Mid-June

With a price tag of $130 million and after nearly five years of planning and execution, the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District hotel is expected to open its doors near the middle of June.

With views of the Dallas Arts District, the property is comprised of 267 rooms that begin on floor 14 and go up to floor 22. The Dallas Business Journal reports It will have three restaurants, a cocktail lounge, meeting and conference areas, a ballroom and a fitness center. A mid-air pool and deck will also be featured with a terrace bar, cabanas and outdoor event space.  Standard daily rates will start at around $575 per night.

Cadence Bank, provided construction financing, while NHK Capital Partners provided the project’s equity and mezzanine debt. Sam Moon Group partnered with HKS as architect.

Another high-end Marriott-branded hotel is slated for the DFW area. The 147-bed AC Hotel by Marriott will be constructed on a two-acre site at Las Colinas in Irving.
