Dalfen Continues DFW Focus, Snaps Up 40 Acres

Younger Partners’ John St. Clair and Jack Gail brokered the sale of almost 40 acres in Mesquite to Dalfen Industrial, which has been active recently in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The tract is on East Scyene Road, adjacent to the City of Mesquite airport.
“These parcels were attractive to the buyer, whom already has a presence in Mesquite and is an experienced industrial developer, because of their location within the quickly emerging Mesquite market,” said St. Clair.

“This part of Mesquite, along with nearby Sunnyvale, has emerged as a solid industrial submarket,” he continued. “This area was previously overlooked but has turned into a solid in-fill industrial location.”

Last month, Montreal-based Dalfen, which also maintains offices in Dallas and other U.S. markets, acquired the nearby, 396,000-square-foot Peachtree Distribution Center in Mesquite. The company also added three assets in Fort Worth as part of an 11-property joint venture with Goldman Sachs.
