Daiwa Capital Markets America Inc. (DCMA) has signed a 20-year lease for 44,100 square feet spanning the 49th floor of Mitsui Fudosan America’s 1251 Ave. of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan. DCMA will relocate its New York headquarters from the Financial District.

“We are excited to mark our 60th anniversary as a registered broker-dealer in the U.S. in 2025 with a relocation to a new state-of-the-art office space in the heart of Midtown,” said DCMA’s chairman and CEO, Keiji Machida. “This investment is part of our commitment to providing our clients with the best possible service, and I am confident that it will help us achieve even greater success in the years to come.”

DCMA joins a tenant roster at 1251 Ave. of the Americas that includes global law firms, banking institutions and asset managers. Newmark’s David Falk and Peter Shimkin represented Mitsui Fudosan America. DCMA was represented by Savills’ Erik Schmall and Scott Weiss.
