Daiso Expands in US, Adds Two Stores in Inland Empire
A popular low-priced Japanese retailer is coming to the Inland Empire. Daiso is opening stores at Ontario Mills and at the Haven Village shopping center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
The Ontario Mills location is a 5,000-square-foot store set to open in May, while the Rancho Cucamonga store is larger at 10,000 square feet, and is expected to open in June. Daiso opened the area’s first store in Chino Hills in 2013.
Daiso stores carry thousands of products typically in the $1.50 range, including kitchenware, electronic accessories and beauty products, as well as novel, unique gift items and party favors not often found at other stores. The company says 90% of its products are Daiso’s own private brand items, which helps keep costs low.
