DaikyoNishikawa US Breaks Ground on $110M Automotive Plant in Huntsville

DaikyoNishikawa US has broken ground on a $110-million automotive plant in Huntsville, AL. The plant will produce plastic automotive parts, such as bumpers and instrument panels.

The plant is being built on the same site as the 3.1 million-square-foot Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA plant, and is expected to come on line in 2021. The DaikyoNishikawa US plant will house 380 employees at full production.

The Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA plant will produce around 300,000 vehicles annually. Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA is the joint-venture company of Mazda Motor Corp. and Toyota Motor Corp.
