D-FW Scores Three Positions Among the Top 10 Cities for High-End Apartment Living
Mostly due to rising interest rates, there has been a rush to quality for apartment seekers. There is an amenities-war of sorts being fought by the apartment developers. And that is no more evident than in Plano, Irving and Dallas Texas.
First off, what qualifies as a luxury apartment. A recent survey from StorageCafe listed the amenities that make a multifamily community rank as “high-end”. Resort-like pools, tennis courts and putting greens, pet spas with dog pools and washing stations, business lounges and EV charging stations are now the new normal in many of the new apartment communities around the US.
Plano came in at number three nationally, with 98.5% of its new units fitting the description. With local employers like Siemens, Cigna and Pepsi, they offer high paying jobs and many of the young professionals demand top-notch living.
Irving was 6th on the list, over 5,600 apartments built since 2012 showcase top-notch amenities. A who’s who of successful employers have driven the demand. Dallas rounded out the Texas top-ten, in 7th.
