D.C. to Get citizenM Hotel in NoMa Neighborhood

Hotel brand citizenM has announced the opening of several new properties across the United States, including one in Washington D.C.’s NoMa neighborhood.

The 292-room property will be located at 1222 1st Street NE and is slated to open in December of 2021. Short for North of Massachusetts Avenue, NoMa is quickly rising as one of the most popular neighborhoods in D.C. The property will be adjacent to downtown offices, nightlife and is approximately two miles east of The White House.

The hotel brand also announced the opening of properties in Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco, which will double citizenM’s U.S. presence to 10 hotels and raise its global portfolio to 27 hotels.
