Cypress Site for 312-Unit Rental Project
Five apartment buildings down, seven to go. Ascension Multifamily is nearly half done with its 312-unit apartment complex across from Cypress Park High School. 60 tenants have moved in so far. The remainder will get their chance in October. Skyview Flats was designed by Ted Trout Architects. Equity partner Moriah Real Estate Co. provided capital, and Dallas-based Veritex Bank provided construction loan financing.
The Houston Business Journal reports the company acquired the site in February 2020 and started construction in November 2021.
Skyview Flats offers one- to three-bedroom apartments ranging from 674 to 1,318 square feet and priced from $1,299 to $2,224. Units feature built-in desks and private yards. All garages have electric car chargers.
Amenities include a swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, clubhouse, business center, dog park and dog washing station, coffee bar, grills and a pool table. There is also a pond with a walking trail around it.
