Cypress Hospital to Receive Major Add-On

Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital is moving forward with a $71.8 million project that will add 40 beds, a second office building and more parking. The facility originally opened in 2017 and has 105 beds and about 600 employees. The expansion will span 185,000 square feet which the medical group hopes will be completed in 2024.

CEO Jerry Ashworth says they are just keeping up with the demand, “The growth within Cypress has been extremely exciting, but it also means we have to make sure we are doing our best to appropriately grow in order to provide the level of care that the community has come to expect.”

Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital also announced they will be putting in an outdoor turf field that will host community sports leagues, including soccer, football and lacrosse. It’s a collaboration among Memorial Hermann, Athlete Training and Health and UT Physican Orthopedics.
