Cyber Insurance Pioneer CFC Relocates Offices to Penn District

Global insurance specialist CFC has leased 13,065 square feet at 5 Penn, a newly repositioned Midtown Manhattan office building owned by Stephen Haymes’s Haymes Investment Company. Founded in the 1990s as one of the first companies in the world to sell cyber insurance policies online, CFC will relocate from 48 Wall St. to occupy its new second-floor space at 5 Penn under a seven-year lease

The 650,329-square-foot, 26-story 5 Penn recently underwent an extensive renovation to deliver modern office space in the Penn District and the emerging Hudson Yards / Manhattan West submarket. “5 Penn anticipated the demands of tenants today with a hospitality-level amenity platform that prioritizes wellness, collaboration and tenant experience,” said JLL vice chairman Mitch Konsker, who leads the building’s agency team with Kristen Morgan, Christine Colley, Greg Wang, Dan Turkewitz and Kate Roush.

The tenant was represented by Joseph DeRosa and Taylor Walker of CBRE.
