CVS to Hire 15K Employees in Anticipation of More COVID-19 and Flu Cases

Rhode Island-based drugstore retailer CVS has announced plans to hire as many as 15,000 new employees during the fourth quarter in anticipation of more cases of COVID-19 and the flu during the upcoming winter months.

More than 10,000 of the positions are for full and part-time licensed pharmacy technicians.

The retailer is recruiting qualified candidates to work as pharmacists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, member benefit case professionals and distribution center employees. The company is also planning to hire several thousand customer service representatives across the country, a majority of which will work from home.
