CVS Debuts HealthHUB in Houston Area, Plans National Rollout

CVS Health debuted HealthHUB, a store redesign in 15 CVS stores throughout the Houston metro. The openings are a jumping-off point to a national rollout of the concept. The Woonsocket, RI-based CVS Health plans to have up to 1,500 locations open and operating in the U.S. by the end of 2021.

HealthHUBS have been incorporated in CVS Pharmacy stores in Cypress, Deer Park, Katy, League City, Pearland, Porter, Seabrook Spring, Sugar Land, Tomball and The Woodlands, as well as Houston. Fifty-three HealthHUBs are already operational in other states, including Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Features incorporated in a Health HUB include:

• Larger selection of health and wellness products

• Education, counseling, and smoking-cessation plans

• Expanded services at MinuteClinics

• Available wellness rooms for group events

“The HealthHUB products and services are designed specifically with the consumer’s health needs, challenges, and goals in mind, so that they can easily receive coordinated, personalized care in a familiar, neighborhood location,” said CVS’ Alan Lotvin.
