CushWake Tapped to Lease Up Former Brewery
Cushman & Wakefield has been hired to provide marketing and leasing for The Mill LIC, a recently repositioned office/flex property at 46-24 28th St. in Long Island City. A one-time brewery, the 56,000-square-foot building has three floors which can be leased separately or combined.
A Cushman & Wakefield team of Joshua Kleinberg and Frank Liggio, who focus on leasing in the outer boroughs, will be leading the marketing efforts on behalf of the property.
“With ownership’s investment and recent renovations, the property is essentially brand new, but still has an incredibly rich history,” said Kleinberg.
46-24 28th was once home to E&J Burke, the brother duo who were the only importers and bottlers of Bass’ Ale and Guinness Stout in the mid-1930s in the United States. Today, it’s situated in one of the strongest transportation hubs in New York City.
