CushWake Tapped for Lease-Up at NorthPoint’s Commerce Park Chicago

NorthPoint Development selected Cushman & Wakefield to market the remaining three sites at Commerce Park Chicago, a 2.4-million-square-foot park on the former Republic Steel site in the South Side’s Hegewisch neighborhood.

Cushman & Wakefield executive director Larry Goldwasser, vice chair Jason West and senior director Colin Green will represent Kansas City-based NorthPoint in offering the property for lease and build-to-suit opportunities. The next phase of development at Commerce Park Chicago will include up to 1.9 million square feet of Class A industrial space.

“NorthPoint is redeveloping this infill location into a South Side gem for all industrial/logistics uses,” said Goldwasser. “Commerce Park Chicago fits the needs of multiple users, from last-mile to bulk to mid-size occupiers seeking access to an enormous customer base of seven million consumers within 50 miles.”
