CushWake Sells $15M La Jolla Village Retail

Cushman & Wakefield (CushWake) has completed the sale of a San Diego multi-tenant retail building to Girard Avenue, LP, for $15.3 million. The 8,116-square-foot building is located at 1133-1147 Prospect St. in the tony La Jolla Village oceanfront district. The seller was an undisclosed family trust.

A CushWake team of Mike Slattery, Jason Kimmel, Tim Winslow and Kevin Nolen with the firm’s San Diego office represented the seller in the transaction.

According to Slattery, “…generation properties such as these rarely come to the market…(the transaction) is believed to be one of the highest price per square foot ever paid for a retail property in San Diego County.”

Located at the corner of Prospect St. and Ivanhoe Ave., the property provides sweeping ocean views and is just steps from the La Valencia Hotel, Georges at the Cove, The Colonial Hotel, and La Jolla Cove.

Connect Retail West is coming to Newport Coast, CA on Feb. 13. For more information, or to register, click here.
