CushWake Scores Leasing Duties at Bronx Warehouse

Cushman & Wakefield has been retained to lease 400 Walnut Ave., a 240,000-square-foot warehouse and commissary space in the Bronx’s Port Morris neighborhood, with 160,000 square feet of private, secure parking.

A Cushman & Wakefield outer-borough leasing team of Joshua A. Kleinberg, William T. Diana and Dale Braverman is marketing the property on behalf of the owner, Village Supermarket of NJ, LP.

“This property is ideally situated for last-mile distribution,” said Kleinberg. “With more individuals using online ordering, this site will help the potential tenant improve delivery times and better manage and allocate inventory.”

The property is situated in one of New York City’s Industrial Business Zones, which offers extensive benefits for taxes and relocation costs to help encourage industrial growth.

“As the popularity of e-commerce continues to grow, more companies are looking to the Bronx for their delivery solutions,” added Diana.
