CushWake Marketing 59th Street Retail Near Apple Store

Cushman & Wakefield has been retained to market the retail at 5 E. 59th St. The eight-story building is across from the Apple store at 767 Fifth Ave.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Kahn and Christian Stanton will be leading the marketing efforts on behalf of the property’s owner.

“5 East 59th is surrounded by the most significant new retail leases and store openings in the city,” said Kahn. “The opening of Celine, Balenciaga, Delvaux and the newly-renovated Apple store puts the property at the center of the highest profile new store openings in the city.”

The property offers 50 feet of frontage, a rooftop terrace overlooking Apple and The Plaza, and a façade that can be redesigned to create a 100-foot tall branding statement. Madison Avenue near 59th Street is becoming the new center for the Madison luxury district, as these brands locate close to other major destinations, according to Cushman & Wakefield.
