CushWake Finalizes Sale of Morris Park Apartments

Cushman & Wakefield arranged the sale of 1600 Tomlinson Ave., a 10-unit, 7,350-square-foot multifamily property in the Bronx’s Morris Park neighborhood. The team of Robert M. Shapiro, Jonathan Squires and Michael Fioravanti represented the seller. Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed.

“The Morris Park market has remained extremely strong through the pandemic,” said Fioravanti.

Shapiro added, “The long-term ownership, strong rents and lack of deferred maintenance helped drive the price of this asset, demonstrating the new reality of rent-stabilized multifamily assets.”

1600 Tomlinson Ave. is located on the corner of Tomlinson and Pierce Avenues in Morris Park. All apartments are occupied and consist of three two-bedroom units and seven one-bedroom units.

The property is within walking distance to the Westchester Square Subway Station and the Morris Park Subway Station. The Bronx Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Jacobi Medical Center are in close proximity.
