
CushWake DC Moves Upstairs to New Digs in 2101 L Street Building
Cushman & Wakefield has signed a long-term lease renewal for its Washington, DC office at 2101 L Street. The company has relocated to the fifth floor and occupies more than 38,000 square feet.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Kurt Richter and Sally Wills represented Cushman & Wakefield in the negotiations with owner and operator JBG SMITH.
The customized office features a hospitality-driven, client-facing reception and lounge area with full pantry and game room for employees. Situated on each side of the Arena are reservable spaces dedicated to collaborating and socializing.
“The abundant data collected from our research showed us that employees desire more cross-pollination, both to improve company culture and create new business opportunities that leverage Cushman & Wakefield’s entire platform,” said Roberta Liss, Cushman & Wakefield’s east region president.
Building amenities include a private courtyard, rooftop terrace with a conference center and catering kitchen, fitness center, concierge services, 24-hour on-site security and retail.
