CushWake Completes Sale of Otay Mesa Industrial Park

Cushman & Wakefield advised seller Murphy Development Company in completing the disposition of the Brown Field Tech Park I and II industrial portfolio totaling 432,924 square feet in the Otay Mesa submarket of San Diego. The four-building portfolio was acquired in two separate transactions by one of the world’s largest privately held real estate investors and managers for an undisclosed sum.

In the most recent sale, the buyer acquired Brown Field Tech Park II, a newly constructed two-building Class A industrial asset totaling 203,244 square feet as a forward sale. It’s implementing a lease-up strategy for the pair of vacant buildings.

Jeff Chiate, Bryce Aberg, Jeff Cole, Mike Adey and Zach Harman of Cushman & Wakefield’s National Industrial Advisory Group in Southern California represented the seller in both transactions. The firm’s Brant Aberg, along with JLL’s Andy Irwin and Joe Anderson of JLL provided leasing advisory in the sales.
