CushWake, Colliers Team on Repositioned West Side Property
Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers International have been retained to market 554 on the Eighth, a 325,000 square-foot office and retail property at the southeast corner of Eighth Avenue and West 38th Street. Formerly known as 554 Eighth Ave., the property is being repositioned by The Expansion Group Inc.
A Cushman & Wakefield team of Brandon Singer and Michael Cody will lead marketing efforts for the property’s 29,000 square feet of retail. Colliers’ Christel Engel and Joshua Goldsmith will market the office space, which offers an opportunity for a full-building lease.
“With the proximity to Hudson Yards and the increased interest from technology companies in the midtown submarket, 554 On the Eighth is positioned as a premier, headquarters-style destination for the most innovative firms in the country,” said Goldsmith.
Singer cited the “unprecedented opportunity for large format retail space at the base of one of Manhattan’s most prominent technology hubs.”
