CushWake Brokers 400K-SF Meadowlands Industrial Deal

In the Meadowlands’ largest industrial deal since mid-2016, Bergen Logistics signed on for 404,000 square feet of a fully-automated distribution center in Rutherford, NJ. Cushman & Wakefield’s Bonni Heller brokered the deal for Bergen Logistics at the recently renovated Murray Metro Distribution Center, 299 Thomas E. Dunn Memorial Hwy.

“Bergen Logistics professionals are known for their ‘customer-first’ approach, and the company has a reputation for deploying facilities that are on the forefront in technology and automation,” said Heller. “This kind of attention to customer detail has helped drive the company’s growth and fueled the need for more space.”

Landlord Murray Construction Co. Inc. was represented in house by COO Michael Nachtome, and by CBRE EVP Thomas Monahan and his team. Bergen Logistics expects to add 200 jobs at the new facility.
