CushWake Brokers $24M Sale of Charleston Office Building

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the $23.7 million sale of 134 Meeting Street, a 71,947-square-foot office building in downtown Charleston.

Located at Meeting and Queen Streets, the 93% leased building offers modern systems, high-end finishes, renovated elevators and one of the highest parking ratios in the Central Business District.  Notable tenants include K&L Gates, an international law firm and Haynsworth, Sinkler & Boyd, a South Carolina-based law firm founded in 1887. The building was renovated in 2015 to include new HVAC equipment, upgraded lobbies, restrooms and a new 1,702-square-foot fitness center.

Jared Londry, Rob Cochran and Nolan Ashton of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Cobalt Property Group, in the transaction. The buyer was Highland Ventures, a separate account client of Insite Properties.
