CushWake Brokers 100K SF in Carlsbad Leases
Cushman & Wakefield brokered two leases comprising more than 100,000 square feet of new occupancy at the NorthPointe and Carlsbad Crossroads projects in Carlsbad. The tenants are GenMark Diagnostics, a provider of automated, multiplex molecular diagnostic testing systems, and COPAN Diagnostics Inc., a supplier of bacteriology swabs, viral transport media, VTM, and molecular transport systems. Both companies are expanding their local real estate footprints.
GenMark Diagnostics leased a 73,057-square-foot freestanding building at NorthPointe. The Class A facility at at 6221 El Camino Real is owned by NY-based LINK Industrial. Cushman & Wakefield’s Aric Starck and Dennis Visser represented the owner.
COPAN Diagnostics leased a 38,800-square-foot freestanding building at Carlsbad Crossroads (pictured). The Class A property at at 2728 Loker Avenue West is owned by HG Fenton. Cushman & Wakefield’s Starck, Visser, Weston Yahn and Melanie Haynes represented both owner and tenant.
