CushWake Bolsters Apartments Platform with KIG Team
Cushman & Wakefield has reinforced its Midwest multifamily platform by bringing on an eight-member team from KIG CRE. Led by Susan Tjarksen (pictured), co-founder of KIG and now a managing director with Cushman & Wakefield, the team will be based at Cushman’s downtown Chicago office.
In addition to Tjarksen, the team includes Todd Stofflet and Jason Stevens, also joining as managing directors, along with Laura Ballou, Jacob Albers, Daniel Falkenberg, Caleb Zielke and Brenda Cuellar. The team has brokered over $2.4 billion of multifamily sales, including 33,000 apartment units.
“The KIG team is forward-thinking and has a fantastic transaction track record,” said Vicki Noonan, Chicago managing principal at Cushman. “Their expertise in interpreting and delivering data-driven intelligence bolsters our Chicago investment sales platform.”
Tjarksen added, “Partnering with one of the largest brokerage firms in the world further cements our position as an industry leader in multifamily investment sales.”
