CushWake Arranges $368M Financing for Logistics Portfolio with Six MD Assets

Cushman & Wakefield has served as the exclusive advisor to an Ares Management Real Estate fund in the procurement of $367.8 million for the financing of a 23-building industrial portfolio with six assets in MD.

The MD properties are located in Capitol Heights, Glen Burnie, Landover (two), Lanham and Odenton. The remaining properties are located in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

John Alascio, Alex Hernandez, Alex Lapidus, Chuck Kohaut, TJ Sullivan and Jason Blankfein of Cushman & Wakefield represented the borrower in the transaction. J.P. Morgan acted as administrative agent on the loan.

The East Coast Logistics Portfolio portfolio totals 3,034,863 square feet. It is 100% leased to 41 tenants in spaces ranging in size from 7,238 square feet to 478,715 square feet.

“We believe the East Coast Logistics Portfolio is well-situated to capitalize on the industrial sector’s rapid expansion within the Mid-Atlantic region with stable market rents and low vacancy rates,” said Alascio.
