Cushman & Wakefield Tapped to Oversee Leasing for Chicago’s NBC Tower

Cushman & Wakefield has been awarded the office leasing assignment for NBC Tower in downtown Chicago.

The historic 37-story property at Cityfront Center serves as a landmark for the neighborhood just east of the Magnificent Mile and is the long-time home of NBC Chicago’s WMAQ-TV. The building is owned by Chicago-based Metropolis Investment Holdings Inc., and Cushman & Wakefield’s Mason Taylor, Karoline Eigel, and Paige Krueger will oversee tenant leasing.

Located at 455 N. Cityfront Plaza Dr., NBC Tower spans nearly 900,000 square feet and has undergone comprehensive renovations to all amenity spaces. “The property itself offers tenants a distinct advantage, combining best-in-class amenities, generous and highly customizable floorplates, and stunning views from a truly signature city landmark,” said Taylor.

The Skidmore, Owings & Merrill-designed tower was constructed in a post-modern Art Deco style as part of a multi-phase, 50-acre development as a link between Chicago’s Near North Side and the Loop.
