Cushman & Wakefield Represents USG in Global HQ Renewal

Cushman & Wakefield has represented USG Corporation in a long-term lease renewal of its 165,000-square-foot global headquarters office at 550 W. Adams Street in downtown Chicago.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Wood, Vice Chair, and David Stefancic, Executive Director, represented USG in the new lease. Property ownership, Manova Partners, was represented by Stream Realty Partners’ Mark Bâby and Katie Hull.

The Cushman team has a long-standing relationship with USG, dating back two decades to the original 2004 global headquarters lease, which resulted in the development of 550 West Adams. Cushman & Wakefield will also provide project management services to USG as part of a renovation of the headquarters facilities.

“USG’s presence in the Chicago area dates back over 100 years,” said Wood. “The new lease solidifies their standing as the anchor tenant at 550 W. Adams for years to come.”
