Chill Development has selected Cushman & Wakefield to lease a new 334,467-square-foot speculative freezer/cooler facility at South Park Industrial Park near Atlanta. This marks Chill Development’s third facility, joining existing locations in Denton, TX, and Plainfield, IL. 

Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Copenhaver, Senior Director and Co-lead of the firm’s National Food & Beverage Advisory Group, will lead marketing efforts for Chill Development’s new building. 

“In metro Atlanta and across the U.S., we’re seeing a shortage of freezer/cooler space that is exacerbated by increasing demand from wholesalers, retailers, restaurants and food and beverage companies,” Copenhaver said. 

Located at 3200 South Park Blvd. in Ellenwood, Georgia, the new development is fully freezer-capable and designed to be divisible, with 50-foot clear storage heights. The temperature for the building can range from -10°F to +70°F in zones based on tenant requirements.
