Cushman & Wakefield Hires URG’s Shawn Jackson

Cushman & Wakefield has hired Shawn Jackson as Managing Principal of the Seattle and Portland offices. Splitting his time between Seattle and Portland, Jackson will lead all market activities and drive growth and business performance throughout the Pacific Northwest.

With over 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Jackson has a significant background in commercial lease negotiation, personnel management, construction management and development. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President at Urban Renaissance Group, where he was responsible for a portfolio of over 9 million square feet of commercial office and retail space and managed more than 120 employees. His career includes successfully negotiating some of the largest lease transactions in Seattle.

He is an active member of the civic community, serving on the Downtown Seattle Association’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee, among other roles.
