Cushman & Wakefield Arranges Sale of Virginia Retail Property

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has completed the sale of 143 & 153 Crown Drive in Danville, Virginia.

BWDD, LLC purchased the 76,622-square-foot retail property on 9.223 acres from GDC Properties I, LLC, as an investment for $6 million. Wyatt Poats of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the seller.

The property is situated in the primary Danville retail trade area. Ownership made numerous improvements since receiving the property back, including painting the improved exterior, resealing the parking lot, and all new landscaping.​ The site consists of a former Ashley Furniture space as well as a former Office Max location.

Thalhimer is a member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance and has offices in Richmond, Newport News, Virginia Beach, Fredericksburg, Roanoke, Charlottesville, and Lynchburg, Virginia.
