Cushman & Wakefield Arranges Sale of Publix-Anchored Center in Florida
Cushman & Wakefield arranged the sale of El Mercado, a 96,042-square-foot neighborhood center in Hialeah, FL. Adam Feinstein and Mitchell Halpern represented the seller, Stockbridge, in the transaction.
“Competition for Publix-anchored centers is exceptionally strong as investor demand currently exceeds the supply of offerings,” Halpern said.
The Publix-anchored property is located at 2400 W. 60th Street, and is 94% leased. Tenants include SunTrust, U.S. Postal Service, Bank of America, Banfield Pet Hospital, Cricket Wireless, and Pollo Tropical.
“El Mercado is well-tailored to serve the surrounding neighborhoods,” Feinstein said. “The center has been a strong performer since its delivery in 1988 and will continue to be for the foreseeable future and beyond.”
