Cushman & Wakefield has hired Walker Brown as executive director of the equity, debt and structured finance team in Atlanta, GA. Brown will integrate with Cushman & Wakefield’s capital markets team to grow Atlanta’s EDSF platform as it provides financial advisory services to clients across property types.

Brown comes to commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield from 3650 REIT, where he opened the investment firm’s Atlanta office and was charged with overseeing the Southeast. Prior to 3650 REIT he was based in New York and served as a managing director with Ladder Capital, Benefit Street Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald. He started his career with Merrill Lynch in the global commercial real estate group.

Brown has been involved in over $10 billion of financings across asset types such as industrial, office, multifamily, retail and hospitality. He has closed loan products that include fixed-rate permanent, floating-rate bridge, construction financing, mezzanine debt and preferred equity.
