Cushman & Wakefield Acquires Peloton Commercial’s Austin Operations
Less than a year after Peloton Commercial Real Estate’s San Antonio operations were acquired by CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield solidified its Austin presence by buying Peloton’s Austin operations. The acquisition adds 40 more employees to Cushman & Wakefield, including Kevin Granger, Brian Liverman and Matt Frizzell, Peloton’s three partners. The Peloton portfolio of leased/managed properties includes five million square feet of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use properties throughout the Austin area.
Operations in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston are not impacted by the acquisition.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Peloton team for enabling us to grow our business and serve our clients well during our six years as a part of their firm,” Granger said. “Joining Cushman & Wakefield, and the depth and breadth of their global platform and the outstanding team already on the ground in Austin, will allow us to take it all to the next level.”
