Curtains Rise on Whole Foods, AMC Dine-In Theatre at CityLine Sunnyvale

AMC DINE-IN Sunnyvale 12 and a Whole Foods Market opened this week in a new, two-story building in the heart of the downtown at STC Venture, LLC’s CityLine Sunnyvale project. The 52,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market is on the ground floor, while the 52,000-square-foot AMC DINE-IN Sunnyvale 12 is on the building’s second floor.

The project at Murphy and McKinley Avenues was developed by a JV between Sares Regis Group of Northern California and Hunter Properties.

Hunter Storm’s Deke Hunter says, “We see both of these businesses as having a central and important place in what will be a vibrant, walkable neighborhood.”

Whole Foods Market contains Floodcraft Brewing Company, which offers craft beers on tap, cocktails, and prepared food. AMC DINE-IN Sunnyvale 12 offers world-class amenities and state-of-the-art sight and sound technology. The theater features a balcony overlooking Redwood Square, which is planned to be transformed into a new, one-acre active public plaza bounded by retail.
