CSW Development, USAA to Partner on La Cantera Heights

Austin company CSW Development is joining forces with USAA of San Antonio to begin development on La Cantera Heights, a 34-acre retail development at Fiesta Texas Drive and La Cantera Parkway near The Rim in San Antonio. CSW Development will begin construction on the first phase, consisting of 35,000 square feet, in Q2 2018, with completion scheduled for early 2019. Tenants have already signed lease agreements for the property.

Construction of phase two, which will consist of 20,000 square feet of retail and a 7,000-square-foot restaurant, is expected to begin in early 2019. The property itself, in far northeast San Antonio, is owned by a subsidiary of USAA Real Estate. JLL will handle leasing of the retail space.
