Crunch Fitness Inks 25K-SF Deal at Carmel Village Shopping Center

National fitness chain Crunch Fitness signed a lease for 25,000 square feet at the Carmel Village Shopping Center, an 84,667 square-foot retail center in Corpus Christi. The lease deal at 4108 S. Staples St. is valued at $2.5 million.

Lynann Pinkham with Cravey Real Estate Services negotiated the lease between the tenant and landlord, Brixmor Property Group. Crunch Fitness has open and planned locations throughout Texas, with plans to open 21 more locations in Central Texas over the next five years.

Carmel Village delivered in the early 1960s, and is across the street from Walmart Super Center and one mile north of the one-million-square-foot La Palmera regional mall. Tenants include Wallbanger’s Hamburger & Hotdogs, Beall’s Department Store, Mattress Firm, Rent-a-Center and Vino Mio.
