CREW Orange County Inaugural Event Attracts Large Turnout

Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), a non-profit organization advancing the success of women in commercial real estate, recently held its inaugural event, “Balanced: An Exclusive Retreat” at the Lido Hotel in Newport Beach, CA. The conference, which focused on wellness and financial health, attracted a large crowd of CRE professionals.

Blending personal and professional development workshops, the event began with a morning yoga session taught by CREW member Jennifer Dorgan, project manager at Allen Matkins. That was followed with a welcome message from CREW OC president Janne Cordova, and interactive sessions addressing financial goals from Lisa Banning of Financial Management Network.

Other discussion topics for the day included time and attention management skills, transformational change through digital social media, and the keynote address from Bahnsen Group Managing Director Kimberlee Davis, author of The Fiscal Feminist, who talked about her financial hardships and how she recovered.

Sponsors for the event included The Smart Agency, BlueSky Restoration Contractors and Connect Media.
