CREW Event Delves into Chicago Hotel Market

At its May luncheon, held at the East Bank Club, CREW Chicago hosted a one-on-one chat featuring one of Chicago’s leading hotel developers, John Rutledge, founder, president and CEO of Oxford Capital Group. The discussion was facilitated by Sophie Bidek, partner with Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture (HPA).

Together, they discussed the overall lifestyle hotel development trends and Chicago’s hospitality market in particular. They delved into detail around the recently-opened Hotel Essex and Essex on the Park luxury apartment building on South Michigan Avenue, for which Oxford was the developer and HPA was the architect.

The event concluded with a Q&A session with the audience.
