Crescent to Develop 299K-SF Industrial Facility in Lakeland

Real estate investor, developer and operator Crescent Communities, in partnership with Native Development Group, has closed on land and commenced construction on the Lakeland North Business Center, a 299,241-square-foot speculative industrial facility in Lakeland.

The project is situated on 28 acres at 900 and 902 N. Chestnut Road and will consist of two commercial buildings totaling 299,241 square feet featuring 32-foot clear heights and dock high loading as well as 89 trailer parking spaces and 247 car spots. Delivery of the facility is expected in Q3 of 2021.

“Lakeland North Business Center will be a tremendous investment for Crescent Communities and the first of many future industrial projects in Central Florida,” said Brendan Pierce, senior managing director at Crescent Communities. “We recognize the I-4 corridor in Florida is one of the fastest growing regions in the United States, and we intend to be a part of this dynamic market.”
